appeals to all sport and recreational aviation interests, including general
aviation, vintage aircraft, ultralights, aerobatics, warbirds, power hang

Chapter 242, is one of over 1000 chapters (and more than 170,000 members)
in many countries around the world.?Our chapter was chartered in 1965 and
has been growing steadily ever since.?Our present membership exceeds 300,
making us one of the largest Chapters in EAA. ?b>

newsletter, has received the top EAA award 4 times since 1990, with several
seconds and thirds as well.
Chapter 242 is fortunate to have worlds of talent
among our members.?There are engineers, designers, and mechanics. Members are
experienced in metal and woodworking, welding, fabric, fiberglass, and painting.
Assistance is available for the asking.
Our Chapter is based at Columbia-Owens Downtown
Airport (KCUB) in Columbia, SC.?Members have access to the Sport Aviation Center
(the SAC), via a walk-through gate and combination locks on that gate and the
door to the SAC.
A chapter is only as good as its members; your support
