This is the control stick assembly. It is basically the first step when using the quick build center section. The stick on the left is the pilot stick, the middle stick is the flap handle, and the copilot stick is temporarily removed.

The white flanged part shown here is where the landing gear leg bolts on. The tubular section of it runs all the way through the center section to the rear spar. The gold part, is one of the leading edge ribs. The leading edge skin will be riveted to this.

This is the opposite end of the landing gear tubular section. It is held in place by the rear socket. This rear socket is bolted to the rear center section spar. Also visible are center section ribs in gold.

The big grey part is the center section main spar. You can just make out the black inner ends of the wing attach bracket. They are cross bolted to the main spar with MIL grade bolts. Also visible is the end rib for the leading edge of the center section.

My center section is horizontal, and I'm starting on the fuselage! Here you see the Sta 73 & Sta 99 bulkheads in place, along with the top stringers. The bulkheads must be vertical in both planes, and the top stringers level, and 8" above the horizontal reference line. The Cessna 150 seats are in place for fun.

Here's another view looking straight on. Note the center section is held level in a wood framework. The framework extends for and aft for alignment of the firewall and tailcone. Yes my garage is that crowded! This is a good picture illustrating the positioning of the control sticks, flap handle, and seats.

Here is my latest picture. Here you see the firewall, and left side skin.
